The editors (both of Liverpool Business School, Liverpool John Moores U., UK) present the second volume in a series collecting key writings by Nobel laureates in economics. In choosing which papers to include, the editors have gone beyond the specific contribution cited by the Nobel Prize citation and have been guided in significant part by the laureates own perceptions of their contributions to economics.
