I met Nelson Shanks at an event in Doylestown, PA a few years before he passed away. He had signed photos of pictures of portraits hes painted.

He has painted the likes of Lady Diana, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, Pavarotti, and others.

This is special in that the frame he paired it with was gilded like the painting.

This is a approx 8" x 9" photo of the painting of the pope in a 12" x 10" frame. The original painting is hanging elsewhere, but this is a photo of his work and he autographed the photo.

The autograph has not been authenticated by other sources, but I was there, so I know whose it is and that its authentic and I can help with trying to authenticate it if need be. Ive just enjoyed it.

This photo of Nelsons painting of Pope John Paul IIs print is rare now. Nelson passed away in 2015.

He was a gifted artist.

**** In the event that you need to authenticate I can help. I have a rare photo I can send a copy of that is of Nelson and someone else that he was painting.

Item cannot be returned if you swab test it for DNA unless its by an official authentication company and you contact me prior with the name of the company. Ive had items ruined and its not fair to the Ebay buying and selling communities especially since this person has passed away and his signature is treasured.
